Position Summary

Leverage proficiency in adjacent technologies beyond core skills to enhance project outcomes. Proactively identify and communicate issues or risks to team leaders, and complete assigned technology learning on schedule. Quickly adapt to project-specific tools and gain understanding of client business processes or industry fundamentals. Support process improvements, automation, and innovation while maintaining up-to-date project documentation. Contribute to tracking delivery metrics and lead knowledge-sharing sessions on processes and technology trends. Participate in team building, defect management, and compliance activities. Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and actively engage in ideation and development of tools, accelerators, and innovative solutions.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic TOSCA Analyst / Automation Engineer at the Analyst level to join our Quality Engineering team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge of test automation and a keen interest in building their expertise with Tricentis TOSCA. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior team members to support automation initiatives and contribute to high-quality software delivery.
- Assist in the design and development of automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA.
- Support the execution and maintenance of automated test cases for web, API, and desktop applications.
- Collaborate with QA team members, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Participate in test data preparation and test environment setup.
- Document test cases, execution results, and defects.
- Learn and apply best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes and frameworks.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Tricentis TOSCA (academic, certification) and Selenium
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the SDLC.
- Experience in analyzing functional requirements or test cases\user stories and converting them into functional and automated test scenarios/cases.
- Familiarity with test case design techniques (e.g., positive/negative testing, boundary value analysis).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in different SDLC/STLC lifecycles (Agile, waterfall) and methodologies.
- Experience in different test phases with standardized QA processes.
- Experience with QA specific tools for test management, test execution progress, defect tracking and triaging.
- Experience in defect logging, tracking, and closing defects.
- Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tool.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Hands-on experience with TOSCA through internships, academic projects, or certifications.
- Exposure to automation of web or API testing.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, VBScript).
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in any other automation tool like (UI Path, Worksoft Certify, UFT etc)
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing or automation (including internships and academic projects).
- Participation in test automation projects during coursework, internships, or previous employment.
- Any TOSCA certification or formal training is a plus.
