Position Summary

Software Engineer III

We are seeking a Level 4 Technical Lead – Full Stack Developer with 6–9 years of professional experience in building and delivering enterprise-scale solutions. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Angular UI development and .NET-based backend systems, along with exposure to Azure and AWS cloud platforms. The individual will play a key role in solution design, technical ownership, and mentoring within Deloitte’s AI & Engineering and Technology & Transformation practices.

Work you'll do

As a Software Engineer III on the AI & Engineering and Technology & Transformation team, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance full stack applications using Angular and .NET / .NET Core
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to Deloitte engineering standards, SSDLC, and best practices
  • Architect and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services with a focus on reliability, security, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile delivery environments
  • Drive code quality through design reviews, pull request reviews, automated testing, and static code analysis
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to capability building, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives

The team

The AI & Engineering and Technology & Transformation teams support clients in designing, building, and modernizing technology solutions aligned to business priorities. Professionals on this team work across engineering, architecture, cloud, and delivery disciplines to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable products. The team partners with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes and drive technology innovation.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6-9 years of experience in full stack application development using Angular and .NET technologies
  • Experience leading technical components or modules within enterprise application programs
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services using .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET Core
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments and DevOps-driven delivery models
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical field
  • Experience using SQL Server or another relational database management system and Object Relational Mapping frameworks such as Entity Framework

Preferred:

  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services in production environments
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with performance optimization and application security testing, including static application security testing and dynamic application security testing
  • Cloud or technology certifications
