Position Summary

Level: Senior Consultant

Work you’ll do:

·       Develop and configure ServiceNow IRM solutions across Policy & Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Privacy Management modules, ensuring solutions are aligned with approved technical designs and business requirements.

·       Proficiently translate business, functional, and regulatory requirements into high-quality platform configurations, custom scripts, workflows, and automation — serving as the primary bridge between business analysis and technical delivery.

·       Configure and customize core platform components including Workspace, UI Builder, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows, Flow Designer, and Playbooks to deliver robust, user-centric solutions.

·       Strong working knowledge of how to embed Now Assist for IRM into target-state operating processes, including issue summarization, risk assessment summarization, regulatory alert summarization, and control review support.

·       Strong understanding of how to embed AI into the end-to-end TPRM lifecycle, including onboarding, inherent risk, due diligence, assessment analysis, issue identification, remediation tracking, and ongoing monitoring.

·       Build and maintain integrations with the broader risk ecosystem — CMDB, ITSM, SecOps, SIEM, IAM, third-party risk feeds (e.g., BitSight, SecurityScorecard), GRC content providers (UCF, Secure Controls Framework), and ERP systems — using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and event-driven patterns.

·       Develop scoped applications of varying complexity, adhering to ServiceNow best practices for secure application design, modular development, and exception handling to ensure operational resilience across IRM workflows.

·       Participate in requirements gathering workshops alongside Functional Consultants and Business Analysts; contribute to solution designs, effort estimations, and user story refinement to ensure technical feasibility and delivery quality.

·       Perform thorough unit testing, peer code reviews, and defect resolution to maintain high standards of code quality and platform integrity.

·       Support solution migration across environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Production) using Update Sets, ATF (Automated Test Framework), and platform deployment best practices

·       Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides, integration specifications, and development runbooks.

·       Stay current with ServiceNow platform releases, new IRM capabilities, and emerging features such as Now Assist for IRM and AI-driven control automation.

·       Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team through technical mentoring of junior developers, documentation of reusable patterns, and adherence to the team’s development standards.

The Team:

Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.

Qualifications:

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

·       5+ years of overall and relevant ServiceNow experience in implementing applications such as IRM (Integrated Risk Management), TPRM, BCM.

·       Proven ability to independently convert business requirements into quality development deliverables — including configurations, custom scripts, workflows, integrations, and UI components — with minimal supervision.

·       Demonstrated experience with technical aspects of ServiceNow, including workflow design, APIs, web services, and integrations using connectors.

·       Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, and how asset/service context drives risk and compliance outcomes.

·       Hands-on experience configuring Workspace, UI Builder, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows/Flow Designer, Playbooks, and migrating solutions to higher environments.

·       Well-versed in various ServiceNow products and platform capabilities.

·       Experience in defining user stories, creating UI mock-ups, and adopting a hands-on approach to drive development outcomes.

·       Ability to participate in code reviews, adopt ServiceNow best practices for software design and development, and provide technical support to colleagues and customers to resolve technical questions and issues.

·       Experience designing, configuring, and developing product automations and integrations.

·       Proficient in ServiceNow platform management activities such as deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

·       Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Business Analysts to estimate user stories and propose solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations for quality and user experience.

·       Ability to manage personal workloads, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet delivery deadlines.

·       Strong documentation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams across geographical locations.

·       Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

·       Certified Application Developer (CAD)

·       Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance

·       Certified Implementation Specialist – Third-Party Risk Management

·       Familiarity with GRC technologies similar to ServiceNow such as Archer IRM, MetricStream.

·       Exposure to Performance Analytics and Application Portfolio Management.

Education:

·       Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field
