Position Summary

Level: Manager

As an Engineering Manager II, you will design and deliver ServiceNow-based solutions with a focus on Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM), and platform optimization. This role offers the opportunity to work with clients, sales teams, and cross-functional Deloitte teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will also help drive governance, implementation quality, and platform best practices across complex engagements.

Work you'll do

As an Engineering Manager II on the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, you will be responsible for…

  • Configuring and developing ServiceNow solutions across CMDB, ITAM, and platform capabilities to support client technical and business objectives
  • Analyzing CMDB data, identifying data quality issues, determining root causes, and implementing solutions to improve data integrity
  • Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical designs and implementation plans
  • Leading solution development activities, including architecture documentation, configuration, integration design, and deployment to higher environments
  • Supporting governance activities such as configuration management plans, policies, standards, operating models, and roadmaps
  • Participating in pre-sales efforts, solution demonstrations, client presentations, and technical discussions with Deloitte US and member firm teams

The team

Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 9-13 years of ServiceNow experience, including implementation of Information Technology Service Management, Information Technology Asset Management, Configuration Management Database, Software Asset Management Professional, or Hardware Asset Management Professional solutions
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow Workspace, UI Builder, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, Update Sets, and Flow Designer
  • Experience designing and developing ServiceNow integrations, application programming interfaces, automations, and workflow solutions
  • Experience with Common Service Data Model framework, configuration item relationships, and CMDB Query Builder
  • Experience delivering 4+ end-to-end ServiceNow projects from requirements gathering through go-live
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field

Preferred:

  • Experience with ServiceNow platform deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Experience conducting ITAM assessments and developing governance documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures
  • Experience creating epics, user stories, client demos, and technical solution documentation
  • Experience working with Functional Consultants and Business Analysts to estimate stories and define technical solutions
  • Experience with other software asset management or hardware asset management tools
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect or Certified Implementation Specialist certification
