Manager, Technology Controls Advisory, Audit and Assurance

Deloitte is seeking a Manager, Technology Controls Advisory, Audit and Assurance to support client engagements focused on technology risk, internal controls, and compliance. This role will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate technology-enabled business processes, assess control environments, and support organizations in strengthening governance and risk management. The role also includes leading workstreams, managing stakeholder expectations, and contributing to high-quality client delivery across audit and advisory priorities

Work you’ll do
As a Manager, you are expected to demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic, lead by example, and make a positive contribution. You will:
• Lead and perform Oracle ERP system evaluations and IT/business process audits as part of SOX 404, SSAE 18, or ICFR assessments in accordance with PCAOB/AICPA guidance using Deloitte methodology
• Lead cross-functional internal audit and advisory engagements, leveraging subject matter specialists across analytics, forensics, regulatory compliance, cyber, and IT
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of internal and external clients’ business processes, with emphasis on Oracle ERP environments
• Determine client needs and expectations and contribute to the development of the overall client service plan
• Play a substantive lead role in client relationship management and communication
• Manage multiple assignments and demonstrate strong people management and networking skills
• Lead projects including planning, execution, quality management, economics, and billing
• Participate in proposal development efforts
• Assist in recruitment and retention of professionals
• Participate in team management, business planning, and training efforts
• Be accountable for continuous development of technical knowledge and soft skills for self and team

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree
• MBA in Finance, Accounting, IT, Information Security, or a related field and/or CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, or a role-based Oracle ERP Cloud Functional Certification

Required skills
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with industry experience a plus
• Strong orientation toward internal controls, risk assessment, operational auditing, and IT auditing
• Hands-on experience testing Oracle ERP ITGCs, including access management, change management, and user access reviews
• Experience testing Oracle ERP automated application controls, such as three-way match, invoice validation, approvals, segregation of duties, and interface controls
• Experience with SOX, Internal Audit, and SSAE 18, with at least one of the three required
• Experience assessing technology risks and controls over access management, change management, and computer operations across IT platforms, including operating systems, databases, networks, and Oracle ERP applications
• Strong understanding of one or more industries: Financial Services; Technology, Media & Telecom; Life Sciences & Health Care; Energy & Resources; Consumer & Industrial Products
• Experience leading engagements and managing a team of 6 or more
• Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage ambiguity, work independently, and collaborate across all levels of the organization

Preferred skills
• Big Four experience preferred
• Ability to work in global delivery models
• Oracle ERP certification or hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS preferred
