Position Summary

Level: Solution Advisor

Work you’ll do:

· Assist in configuring SAM Pro modules and implementing asset lifecycle workflows (software requests, approvals, provisioning, reclamation, and retirement) using ServiceNow Flow Designer.

· Contribute to the creation of technical workflow diagrams, UI mockups, and effective data/object models for software asset management projects.

· Support deployment tasks to higher environments, including workflow testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing system improvements.

· Work with Content Library and publisher packs to normalize and maintain software data within ServiceNow SAM Pro.

· Collaborate on integrating relevant discovery tools (e.g., SCCM, JAMF) to enhance asset inventory, utilization tracking, and data accuracy.

· Maintain high integrity across SAM Pro records, CMDB, and software catalog by evaluating asset completeness and resolving data issues.

· Participate in workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to identify process improvement opportunities and automation use cases.

· Assist in analyzing software usage patterns, flagging optimization or reclamation opportunities, and preparing actionable metrics and dashboards.

· Provide technical support and documentation to project teams and end users.

· Work actively with cross-functional groups (IT, procurement, cyber risk) to enable effective asset management and compliance.

· Stay updated with emerging SAM Pro features, best practices, and industry trends.

· Contribute to research and development of enhancements, templates, or internal accelerators for SAM Pro adoption.

The team:

Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.

Qualifications:

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

· 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow and SAM Pro modules.

· Demonstrated ability to configure SAM workflows, create and test automation using Flow Designer, and maintain accurate asset records.

· Experience with discovery tool integration and software data normalization.

· Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills around SAM and ServiceNow platforms

· Create flows by requirement gathering on Visio

· Integrate with Discovery tools and SCCM to collect usage and installation data.

· Integrate SAM with contract and vendor management modules.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

· ServiceNow CSA or CIS-SAM certifications (preferred).

· Experience with CMDB, asset inventory, or configuration management integrations.

· Familiarity with cloud/SaaS assets and hybrid infrastructure environments.

· Working knowledge of SCCM, Flexera, JAMF, or similar SAM/ITAM tools.

· Awareness of cyber risk and compliance processes.

· Strong communication, technical writing, and collaboration skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree + MBA (Preferred)
