Position Summary
Level: Lead Solution Advisor
Work you’ll do:
· Configure and enhance the ServiceNow SAM Pro module covering software model management, licensing lifecycle, and compliance automation.
· Develop and optimize workflows using Flow Designer, aligning requirements with business operations.
· Integrate SAM Pro with discovery tools (e.g., SCCM) and external data sources to automate software usage and installation tracking.
· Normalize discovered software assets using publisher packs and Content Library to support accurate entitlement and compliance calculations.
· Support software request, approval, provisioning, and de-provisioning processes through automated workflows.
· Develop gap analyses and audit-ready compliance reports to strengthen software asset management and risk postures.
· Engage with business stakeholders to define epics and user stories, produce mock-ups, and document technical requirements.
· Deliver ServiceNow configuration training and provide practical support for system users and project team members.
The team:
Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.
Qualifications:
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
· 5-7 years of experience
· Hands-on ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation, workflow design, and integration with IT discovery platforms
· Proficient in Flow Designer, Visio for requirements mapping, data normalization, and publisher pack management
· Expertise in automating software reclamation, compliance reporting, and managing true-ups with procurement/legal stakeholders
· Track record of maintaining data integrity in SAM, CMDB, and entitlement modules
· Perform gap analysis between installations and entitlements.
· Develop license compliance and audit-ready reports.
· Build workflows for software requests, approvals, provisioning, and de-provisioning.
· Analyze usage patterns and recommend optimization opportunities.
· Integrate SAM with contract and vendor management modules.
· Define and enforce policies to ensure software compliance.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
· ServiceNow CSA and CIS-SAM certifications
· Good knowledge of operating systems, servers, hardware environment, software licensing, etc., preferred
· Hands on experience of SAM, CMDB, Discovery integrations, and inventory management.
· Hands on experience on Visio tool for creating flows
· Proficiency in Flow Designer, catalog development, scripting, and troubleshooting in ServiceNow.
· Knowledge around software licensing for vendors
· Usage of SAM tools like SCCM, Flexera, and SNOW recommended
· Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
· Good communications and interpersonal skills
· Strong analytical skills and ability to think out of the box
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree + MBA (Preferred)
