Our Enterprise Performance team is at the forefront of enterprise package insights and platform technology, working across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and IT operations to support delivery of holistic performance improvement and package led large scale digital transformation. Position Summary

Level: Consultant or equivalent

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

In this role, you will support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across business applications, including testing and production environments. Responsibilities include configuring, designing, testing, and analyzing solutions, as well as developing new capabilities. You’ll evaluate customer requirements, translate them into effective processes, and solve complex data and process challenges. Collaboration with global and virtual teams is key to ensuring timely project delivery. You’ll engage in hands-on configuration, functional design, testing, and technology support, while mentoring junior colleagues. Participation in project meetings, ongoing training, career development, and firm-level initiatives is expected to foster continuous learning and professional growth.

By taking a holistic approach—from strategy development to process design and technology enablement—we support clients in overcoming operational challenges and managing key business functions. As organizations pursue digital transformation, these areas become vital in shaping interactions with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. By integrating strategy, operational improvement, implementation, and managed services, we creatively deploy resources and drive innovation, ensuring clients achieve impactful, sustainable results at the speed demanded by today’s dynamic market.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

  • 3-6 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management (TM) functional experience.
  • Proven participation in at least one complete SAP TM support project, with exposure to system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Strong expertise in SAP TM Master Data Management: handling product, business partner, dangerous goods, transportation network (locations, routes, zones), and resource setup (vehicles, trailers, handling units).
  • Skilled in facilitating business workshops, process design, and SAP TM solution deployment tailored to organizational logistics needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both inbound and outbound shipments, covering domestic and international movements, load building (FTL, LTL), and optimizing package building strategies (mixed product packing, efficient layer building).
  • Solid understanding of ocean and air freight order planning, including freight unit creation, proposal development, and order management.
  • Experienced in transportation execution processes, encompassing carrier selection, tendering, delivery coordination, and shipment proposal activities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of freight settlement, including charge management, accurate charge calculation, and streamlined settlement procedures with carriers and partners.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
  • Experience or exposure to SAP Embedded TM within S/4HANA is beneficial.

Education:
  • BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M. Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

  • Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai
Shift Timings:

  • 24*7 including night shifts, as per business requirements
