Position Summary
Level: SAP ABAP Consultant/Senior Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
As a CrystalBridge SNP Migration Specialist, you will lead or support SAP landscape transformation projects using SNP’s Crystal Bridge platform. You’ll leverage deep knowledge of SAP systems, SNP toolsets, and transformation best practices to plan, execute, and manage end-to-end SAP brownfield, bluefield, or related migration projects. Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, designing tailored migration scenarios, and ensuring the successful transfer of their data with minimal impact on production processes.
As an SAP ABAP Consultant/Senior Consultant, you are desired to develop good knowledge across all RICEFW components and process areas, ensuring high-quality deliverables in line with our CMMI-certified standards. Responsibilities include reviewing functional specifications, preparing technical documentation, translating requirements into efficient code, and performing thorough technical unit testing. You will be accountable for maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the build phase and actively participating in review processes, including self and peer reviews.
- Lead or contribute to end-to-end SAP transformation and migration projects using CrystalBridge and SNP methodologies (brownfield, bluefield, carve-outs, mergers, or selective migrations).
- Execute and monitor automated transformation tasks—system conversions, data migration, harmonization, system splits/mergers—using CrystalBridge.
- Oversee mass data transformations ensuring business continuity
- Collaborate with clients to design optimal transformation scenarios, simulate outcomes, and develop cutover strategies
- Provide regular progress reports and status updates to project stakeholders
- Work closely with SAP functional and technical team and business users to ensure business requirements are met.
- Train and mentor junior team members on CrystalBridge usage and SNP best practices.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Work effectively within structured, process-driven environments

Qualifications:
Must have Skills:
- 4-10 Years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and SNP’s CrystalBridge platform in SAP migration, transformation, or upgrade projects
- Proficiency in SNP – Data Transformation Experience, modules of CrystalBridge – Analysis, Mission Control Basics, Shell Creator and CB Transformation S/4HANA Cockpit
- Nice to have hands on experience in core ABAP areas:
- Reports (including ALV)
- Interfaces (file-based; optionally IDOC, ALE, etc.)
- Enhancements (User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI; optionally BTE, Enhancement Framework in S/4HANA)
- Adobe Forms
- Conversions (including BDC, BAPI; optionally LSMW)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good understanding of the Functional Processes
- Experience of writing technical specification document
- Good communication skills
Good to have Skills:
- SNP certification or prior work at an SNP partner
- Experience in any additional skill area such as Integration, SAP UI5, SAP BTP, MDG, or EWM Technical
Education:
· BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
