Position Summary
Level: SAP Analytics Senior Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
As an SAP Analytics Senior Consultant, you will ensure high-quality deliverables in line with our CMMI-certified standards. Responsibilities include reviewing functional specifications, preparing technical documentation, translating requirements into efficient code, and performing thorough technical unit testing. You will be accountable for maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the build phase and actively participating in review processes, including self and peer reviews.
- Lead or contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of data models, reporting solutions, and analytics using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and load from a variety of source systems into the SAP BW/4HANA and Datasphere environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud for dashboards, storytelling, and advanced analytics.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout all SAP analytics solutions.
- Support migration or integration projects between SAP BW/4HANA, Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Provide thought leadership and technical guidance to junior staff and business partners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data flows, reports, and system integrations.
- Stay current with the latest developments in SAP analytics technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:
Must have Skills:
- 6-10 Years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics with BW4HANA + SAC (1-2 years) or SAP Datasphere (1-2 year) + SAC (1-2 years) across implementation projects or SAP Embedded analytics (5-7 Years) + SAC (1-2 Years)
- Proficiency in core Analytics areas:
- Understanding and implementing ingestion to Data platform via extractors, CDS, SDI, SLT, ODP frameworks
- Modelling in BW / Datasphere with different artifacts like ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Hybrid modelling, dataflows, transformational flows, graphical views, calculations views, script scripts/procedures, analytical models, etc.
- Extractor enhancements with User Exits, Customer Exits, BADI
- Design, develop, and optimize CDS Views to support embedded analytics in SAP S/4HANA
- Integrate CDS views with Fiori Elements, Analytical List Pages (ALP), KPIs, and Smart Business Cockpits
- Techniques for performance optimization of Views, query performance and data load processes.
- Proficiency in SAC Story creation, data modeling, and SAC scripting (for analytical applications). Strong understanding of SAC features such as Smart Insights, Smart Predict, and R Visualization. Familiarity with connecting and consuming data from SAP BW/Datasphere/S/4HANA and embedding SAC in Fiori or other business apps.
- Building complex data models—hierarchies, calculated measures, input tasks, and advanced data wrangling abilities and advanced use of widgets, linked analysis, bookmarks, and input controls
- Technical involvement in full-cycle implementation project
- Good understanding of the Functional Processes across S4
- Experience of writing technical specification documents, documenting testing documents.
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Complex data integration scenario along with handling very large datasets and associated performance issues.
Good to have Skills:
- Experience in any additional skill area such as SAP HANA2.0, SAP Databricks with Python coding, Power BI
Education:
· BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
