Azure Devops Engineer – Assistant Manager

You will be part of our technology organization and will have great opportunities to work across various parts of Deloitte, including our DevOps, Development teams and other stakeholders to create and drive innovative, scalable and robust applications.

This role requires a software professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for coming up with innovative solutions along with developing and motivating others. As a manager you’ll assist in the development of the client requirements that aim to exceed client expectations. You’ll also be responsible for mentoring your team members, providing them with technical support.

Work you’ll do

As assistant manager, you will hands on and leading day-to-day DevOps activities. You’ll closely work with the team to tackle infrastructure, analysis, understanding requirements and other issues. This would also require you to be involved in all stages of infrastructure development (planning, designing, development, deployment, testing etc.). But that’s just the start; we’ll also expect you to:

• Understand requirements and have discussions with BA to get clarifications

• Providing effort estimates and should be hands on whenever needed.

 • To coordinate with the onsite team when required.

 • Good at communication (both verbal and written).

 • Help teams (Internal/Others) to improve the quality of the deliverables ,

• Be a subject matter expert to support Application DevOps Architecture, performance upgrades, scalable & cost[1]effective solutions and deployments, throughout the full product lifecycle

 • Manage system/application configuration changes, including those to meet specifications and requirements

 • Perform Proof of Concept activities.

 • Recommend Infrastructure change, modification and customization for existing Enterprise Tax platform infrastructure in Microsoft or AWS Cloud platforms.

 • Research product functionality and applicability to ensure effective recommendations and guidance to the Deloitte Tax team, other internal teams and leadership

Location: Hyderabad

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical or scientific fields.

 Certification: Cloud /Microsoft/ AWS/AI.

Years of Experience: 6-8 years

Work shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Qualifications • Expertise with PowerShell scripting & terra form scripting etc.

, • Strong Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube and Bicep.

 • Experience with Azure cloud and services, as well as experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure.

 • Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.

 • Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.

 • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.

 • Implementing and maintaining version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.

 • Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.

 • Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

 • Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.

 • Very good communication skills to effectively communicate across teams
