Position Summary
As an Associate Analyst, you will support the audit team by performing a range of administrative tasks within the ESC group. Your responsibilities will include drafting engagement letters, monitoring audit client compliance with SEC independence rules and Deloitte policies and managing client acceptance and continuation processes. Additionally, you will coordinate group audits and provide support for various audit tools, such as audit confirmations, trial balance support, and financial statement tie-outs.
Work You'll Do
● Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables, with the ability to understand implications of findings, next steps, and project deadlines.
● Follow the agreed process in the development of deliverables and adopt a structured approach.
● Provide regular updates to team lead about the progress of assigned tasks.
● Ensure the executed work meets the Firm's quality standards.
● Should learn the various tools and templates used by ESC’s.
● Hiring location would be Hyderabad
The Team
Engagement Service Centres (ESCs) is a shared services group that provides dedicated administrative support to the Audit function. The group serves as hubs of skilled, dedicated resources who support engagement teams and work in multiple audit areas. Some services from this group include Engagement Letter ESC (ELESC), Client Acceptance ESC (CAESC), Digital Services COE and Independence Support ESC (ISESC). Activities performed by the ESC group are not audit-related.
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in accounting (B.Com), with 0-1 years of experience.
● Should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

● Should be self-motivated, with a results-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills. Must have problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly. High attention to
detail and the capacity to meet tight deadlines are required.
● Should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills.
● Should possess good interpretation skills to read, understand and apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
