Work you’ll do
Join the USI UK IM&R Tax team. Work you do consist of engagement compliance activities and support risk across the teams. This role will assist with client acceptance, engagement setup, background review, and compliance support processes to help teams onboard work accurately and in accordance with firm requirements.
To list some of key responsibilities: -
* Support client acceptance and engagement setup activities in line with firm policies and risk management requirements.
* Assist with background reviews and compliance checks for new and existing engagements.
* Gather, review, and organize required documentation for engagement onboarding and approval processes.
* Coordinate with engagement teams to obtain missing information, clarify requests, and resolve incomplete submissions.
* Track workflow status, follow up on open items, and help support timely completion of required reviews.
* Escalate potential risks, inconsistencies, or policy-related concerns to senior team members when needed.
* Maintain accurate records, trackers, and supporting documentation.
* Contribute to process improvement efforts that enhance quality, efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
* Support other risk, compliance, and operational activities as assigned.
* Work collaboratively within the team and ensure timely delivery of tasks
The Team
The USI UK IM&R Tax team supports the UK IM&R Tax practice by helping professionals navigate client acceptance, engagement setup, and compliance-related requirements so work can move forward efficiently and in line with firm policies. The team works closely with engagement teams and other internal stakeholders to review information, identify potential risks, maintain documentation, and support timely decision-making. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary functional and technical skills
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
* Bachelor of Commerce/Business or related field.
* 0-1 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance, audit, or professional services operations.
* Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Good presentation skills
* Sound interpersonal skills and committed to working as part of an integrated service delivery team
* Shows initiative and is proactive in seeking resolution of issues and in learning the business
* Understands the critical importance of achieving deadlines and identifies issues that may impact on our service delivery
* Attention to detail is key
* Ability to work independently
* Good problem-solving skills
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
