Position Summary

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (USI Tax) supports Deloitte Tax LLP U.S. service offerings through integrated tax, accounting, and technology-enabled solutions. As tax requirements, financial reporting needs, and digital tools continue to evolve, this role offers the opportunity to support high-quality accounting and reporting activities for U.S. teams. The position focuses on statutory financial statement preparation, GAAP conversion, and process execution in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Work you'll do

As a Senior, Tax Services on the USI Tax team, you will be responsible for supporting accounting and financial reporting activities for client engagements and internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare GAAP conversion bridge files to convert accounts from management generally accepted accounting principles, including U.S. generally accepted accounting principles or International Financial Reporting Standards, to local generally accepted accounting principles
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and note disclosures in accordance with applicable reporting requirements
  • Execute quality risk and compliance procedures by following established checklists, guidance, and documentation standards
  • Manage engagement-level financial administration activities, including invoice processing and support for annual financial statement preparation
  • Coordinate with colleagues across locations to deliver work in accordance with engagement timelines and reporting calendars
  • Use reporting tools and technology platforms, including Workiva, Thomson Reuters, CaseWare, and Microsoft Excel, to support data management and reporting efficiency

USI Tax supports Deloitte Tax LLP teams by providing integrated tax, accounting, and technology-enabled services across a range of engagements. Teams collaborate across geographies to support financial reporting, compliance, and process execution in a dynamic business environment. This role is part of a team focused on delivering high-quality accounting and reporting support through standardized processes, technical knowledge, and collaboration.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline
  • 4-6 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, statutory reporting, or financial statement preparation
  • Experience preparing statutory financial statements and note disclosures
  • Experience performing GAAP conversion activities using U.S. generally accepted accounting principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, or local generally accepted accounting principles
  • Experience using financial reporting tools such as Workiva, Thomson Reuters, or CaseWare
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Ability to work rotational shifts

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting global or cross-border teams
  • Experience managing multiple assignments within established deadlines
  • Experience with engagement financial administration activities, including invoice processing
  • Experience working in a professional services environment.
