Position Summary

Built on Deloitte’s USI Talent Risk & Relations practice, this role helps address employee risk matters across the organization through investigations, consultations, and issue resolution. The Specialist Manager, Talent Risk and Relations will manage complex talent relations matters, advise stakeholders on employment risk, and support fair, consistent outcomes. This role also helps identify trends, strengthen risk mitigation, and support programs that promote policy awareness and appropriate workplace conduct.

Work you'll do

As a Specialist Manager, Talent Risk and Relations on the Talent Risk & Relations team, you will be responsible for…

  • Manage complex talent relations matters, including policy violations, behavioral misconduct, harassment matters, performance concerns, and grievance cases.
  • Conduct investigations, document findings, and provide recommendations to mitigate employment risk and support fair, consistent outcomes.
  • Partner with Talent Business Advisors, business leaders, Office of General Counsel, Office of Security, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to address employee risk matters.
  • Support Internal Complaints Committee activities, facilitate awareness sessions on conduct and policy topics, and manage case tracking through the case management system.
  • Identify case trends, recommend interventions to reduce risk, and provide guidance to Talent Risk & Relations analysts on case handling and background check matters.
  • Support crisis response and medical accommodation matters as needed.

The team

Talent Risk & Relations focuses on employee risks across all levels caused by either behavioral or external factors (e. g., investigations, consultations, and crisis matter). Talent Relations brings specialized skills and an integrated approach effectively addressing employee risks and people issues.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Social Work, or a related discipline
  • 8-10 years of experience, including 6+ years in talent relations or employee relations
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations, grievance handling, and crisis management
  • Experience serving on or supporting an Internal Complaints Committee under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act
  • Experience advising business leaders and Human Resources stakeholders on employee risk matters
  • Experience using case management systems to log, track, and manage cases

Preferred:

  • Experience managing background check case reviews and assigning case work across a team
  • Experience facilitating classroom or virtual training on code of conduct, workplace behavior, or policy awareness
  • Experience supporting medical accommodation matters
  • Experience partnering with legal, security, and talent stakeholders on sensitive employee matters
  • Experience providing guidance or coaching to junior team members
