Specialist Manager – Regional Facility - Real Estate Services India
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Facility Manager with a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering to oversee the operations, maintenance, and strategic management of our extensive real estate portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of the facility.
Work you’ll do
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.) to maximize asset life and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and Deloitte’s internal policies.
- Manage third-party service providers (maintenance contractors, OEMs etc.), ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Working closely with Operations, Security for space reconfigurations, moves and renovations to support changing business requirements.
- Champion workplace experience initiatives, including ergonomics, sustainability and employee engagement programs.
- Develop and manage annual facility budgets; monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance, spend, and improvement projects for senior leadership.
- Ensure all facilities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements; drive a culture of safety and risk mitigation.
- Drive sustainability initiatives (energy efficiency, waste reduction, green certification) in alignment with Deloitte’s global ESG goals.
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, incident tracking, and key metrics for senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and manage on-site engineering and technical teams across all locations; ensure high standards of performance and professional development.
The team
USI Real Estate team is responsible for managing the facilities for USI locations which includes Lease Management, Construction Management, Space Management, Upkeeping of Engineering Equipment, Occupancy Costs Budgeting & Reporting - Capex & Opex.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering: any certifications (e.g., PMP, IFMA, LEED) are a plus.
- Minimum 6- 7 years of relevant experience in facility management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role managing large portfolio.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale facilities.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance best practices, and statutory compliance in India.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation skills and stakeholder management skills.
