As a Services Associate, Firm Risk, Compliance, and Governance Services on the Risk & Brand Protection team, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing, creating, and monitoring contract summaries and tracking obligations to validate that deliverables are met in line with contractual terms and conditions
- Managing trackers for work-in-progress contracts and work-at-risk items, capturing action items, and updating status
- Assisting with reviews related to statements of work and change requests as required
- Collaborating with stakeholders and Canadian Contract & Risk Managers on risk and contract management activities
- Supporting other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned
The team
The Risk team’s mission is to protect the earnings, assets, and reputation of the firm, facilitate consistency of delivery, and reduce the cost of quality. The primary responsibility of the contract management team is to provide effective and timely risk and quality-related counsel and guidance to the Deloitte teams that support client engagements. This team accomplishes its mission by helping identify, mitigate, and manage risk (delivery, regulatory, legal, and reputation) throughout the engagement life cycle.
The successful candidate will provide risk management support to the Contract and Risk Managers in Deloitte Canada’s Technology and Transformation (T&T), OperateNext business throughout the contracting lifecycle ranging from deploying structured contract management processes for compliance of contractual commitments and deliverables and tracking of contractual obligations.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- LLB, MBA, or equivalent qualification
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and redlining commercial contracts and preparing risk summaries
- Experience in contract management for professional services agreements, information technology consulting, information technology outsourcing, or information technology professional services projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- English oral and written communication skills
Preferred:
- World Commerce & Contracting certification
- Familiarity with contract management tools
- French language proficiency
