As a Services Associate, Firm Risk, Compliance, and Governance Services on the Risk & Brand Protection team, you will be responsible for:
- Perform portions of personal independence audits for DTTL Canada Partners, Directors, and Managers by applying the audit process and reviewing submitted materials for compliance with DTTL Canada Independence policies.
- Identify financial interests in submitted audit materials, research entities using firm tools and internet sources, and document procedure results and potential policy exceptions.
- Work with independence team members to support best practices and build a consistent knowledge base for handling independence scenarios.
- Manage multiple auditees at the same time, track progress, and report status and issues to management.
- Develop working knowledge of DTTL Canada Independence policies to support conclusions on potential exceptions identified during the audit.

The R&BP group plays a critical role in enhancing, preserving and protecting the reputation of the Deloitte organization. Our group is focused on strategic, confidential and regulatory risk matters which include ensuring Independence of the organization, Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and Managers, apart from conducting a host of compliance monitoring activities for all the professionals in the U.S, India and other member firm offices.
The Centre of Excellence comprises various teams operating databases with client and affiliate information, monitoring conflicts of interest, monitoring data privacy, and monitoring investments of organization personnel. The group supports the Deloitte U.S. National Office as well as global Deloitte member firms.
We are in an internal Deloitte U.S. Firms professional service position that supports member firms of the Deloitte organization. Functions within R&BP include Independence Operations, Independence Audits, Conflicts, Independence Representations, Discipline, and Ethics & Compliance amongst others. The team interacts/coordinates frequently with other members across the member firms’ risk and brand protection groups to effectively serve Deloitte professionals.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- B.Com or CA Inter
- 2–3 years of experience in audit, compliance, independence, risk, or regulatory review
- Experience reviewing financial information and identifying policy exceptions
- Experience documenting audit procedures, findings, and case records
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and database tools
- Experience handling confidential information in a professional environment
Preferred:
- Experience supporting independence audits or compliance monitoring activities
- Experience researching financial interest entities using internal systems and internet sources
- Experience working with cross-functional or international stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple reviews, cases, or assignments simultaneously
