Position Summary

As a Full-stack Software Engineer, you will actively engage in your engineering craft, taking a hands-on approach to multiple high-visibility projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering solutions that delight customers and users, while also driving tangible value for Deloitte's business investments. You will leverage your extensive engineering craftmanship across multiple programming languages and modern frameworks, consistently demonstrating your strong track record in delivering high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be a dependable team player, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions.

Work you'll do

As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the Product Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and supporting software solutions across multiple high-visibility products and initiatives
  • Translating business, architecture, and user experience requirements into technical specifications and scalable code
  • Applying cloud-native engineering practices using modern frameworks, automation, and DevSecOps methods across the software development life cycle
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across product management, experience, and delivery to balance feasibility, usability, and business value
  • Driving incremental delivery, continuous improvement, and engineering quality through maintainable design, code integrity, and operational support

As Deloitte’s primary internal development team, Product Engineering delivers innovative digital solutions to businesses, service lines, and internal operations with proven bottom-line results and outcomes. Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing software applications using technologies such as Angular, React, Node.js, Python, C#, .NET Core, Java, Go, and SQL or NoSQL databases
  • 5+ years of experience building cloud-native applications using FaaS, PaaS, or microservices on AWS.
  • Experience using object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and code instrumentation in software development
  • Experience working with engineering practices and tools such as Agile, Extreme Programming, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and SonarQube

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative artificial intelligence solutions
