Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of cost-effective platform operations, improving stability/resilience and automating optimizations to reduce maintenance effort and meet business KPIs.
- Follow SRE practices aligned to business goals and standards; leads requirement analysis, automation, integration, monitoring/dashboarding, and ongoing operational support.
- Configures, integrates, and maintains systems, helps solve complex problems through operational automations and predictive analytics. Works with the team to identify bottlenecks and optimizations, adhering to defined standards/SLAs.
- Develops and iterates operational solutions with customers and product teams; responds to incidents rapidly to minimize downtime and user impact.
- Delivers lean, supportable solutions in small increments; validates with evidence, learns fast, and adapts execution to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration and Integration: Collaborates with product, delivery, infrastructure, and security teams; partners with COTS vendors to validate operational capabilities; integrates diverse perspectives to drive decisions, synergy, and innovation.
· Advanced Technical Proficiency: Applies intermediate SRE practices (Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD) to improve automation and quality; supports the product lifecycle from design through scaling with continuous improvement and learning.
· Domain Knowledge: Learns domain/product/COTS context quickly; translates business and user needs into operational plans and automations; navigates product, UX, engineering, compliance, and security to drive feasible product value.
· Effective Communication and Influence: Communicates SRE concepts clearly; influences with evidence-based trade-offs, evaluations, and research; connects technical decisions to business objectives through coherent narratives.
· Engagement and Collaborative Co-Creation: Engages product engineering teams and customers as needed; builds trusted relationships and a co-creation culture; drives consensus across diverse viewpoints to deliver feasible solutions.

Experience with the following Technologies/Methodologies required:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow
- Strong knowledge of web-based technologies; AngularJS, HTTP, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
- Microsoft SQL Server and other most common backend Microsoft technologies.
- Well versed in UML with comfort of diagraming in at least one tool – Visio, Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm, Modelio etc.
- Experience with the following Technologies/Methodologies preferred:
- Messaging architectures SOAP and REST with JSON text encoding.

- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills to earn support of business leaders, technology leaders, colleagues, and vendor representatives.
- Capable of building sustainable relationships with colleagues and key individuals.

Qualification
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with at least 4 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- At least 1 year of experience as Portal developer
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports in ServiceNow
- At least 2 years’ experience as a technical lead, doing code reviews and providing technical guidance to the team.
- ServiceNow System Administrator Certification, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- ITIL Certifications
- ServiceNow training and certifications
- Must have clear communications skills both oral and written Ability to negotiate in a non-confrontational manner to deliver a clear, well-structured and concise argument to support your opinion, using facts, pro's/con's, business justifications and other persuasion methods.
- Must have ability to work in fast paced environment, balance priorities and juggle multiple tasks at once
- Must be able to work independently
- Must possess a strong desire and clear understanding for high customer satisfaction
- Must be flexible, have good energy, easy to work with and a team player
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with third party plug-ins that offer cost effective business solutions
- Prior experience in supporting proposals and providing written content for future prospects
