Position Summary

The BCM Specialist role sits within the Business Continuity & Resilience team in the USI Office of Security. This role is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and refining Deloitte’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) program for the US India offices. The BCM Specialist works with stakeholders across Security, Office Operations, Cyber & Technology, Office Management, and the business to design, implement, and sustain business continuity and recovery capabilities that help keep critical services available during disruptions. The BCM specialist supports USI BCM Lead by providing subject matter expertise to strengthen planning and enable effective incident response.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop, maintain, test, and refine business continuity and local crisis plans for US India offices
  • Support business impact analysis, location risk assessments, and continuity planning activities across offices and functions
  • Support monitoring and initial coordination of incident response activities that may affect business operations
  • Participate in internal, external, client, or third-party audit and compliance activities tied to continuity requirements
  • Develop and facilitate drills, exercises, and awareness activities to strengthen continuity and emergency preparedness

The team

The Business Continuity & Resilience team helps Deloitte prepare for, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions across US India offices. The team works closely with security, office operations, technology, and business stakeholders to strengthen continuity planning, recovery readiness, and incident response coordination.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 6-10 years of experience in business continuity, resilience, security operations, or a comparable operational risk role in a large organization
  • Experience supporting business continuity plans, local crisis plans, business impact analysis, or continuity testing activities
  • Experience performing risk assessments, disruption impact analysis, or incident response coordination
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, controls evidence, or action-tracking activities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in emergency management, disaster management, crisis management, or physical security operations
  • Experience with ISO 22301, ISO 27001, SSAE, CMMI, client, or third-party audit activities
  • Experience with continuity exercises, scenario testing, or training delivery
  • Familiarity with access control, visitor management, video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, mass notification, or public address systems
  • Certification such as ISO 22301, Certified Business Continuity Professional, Certified Protection Professional, or Physical Security Professional
