About the role:
Are you a design-obsessed professional who finds satisfaction in transforming complex, information-dense content into visually compelling stories? As a Manager - Strategic Design & Delivery within the Deloitte Technology-US (DT-US) Office of the CIO (OCIO) Strategy team, you will play a critical role in producing executive-ready deliverables that inform and influence senior technology and business leaders. The ideal candidate combines exceptional design skills across Microsoft Office and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) with a strong eye for detail, business acumen, storytelling, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
The work you'll do
• Own end-to-end design and production of high-stakes executive deliverables across a variety of formats
• Bring complex ideas to life visually by translating dense and/or scattered data into clear and compelling narratives
• Apply your full design toolkit (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite) to produce outputs that reinforce DT-US’s strategic ambitions
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate deliverable production, enhance quality, and continuously elevate what the team can deliver
• Partner with US- and India-based DT-US professionals as creative thought partners to shape how ideas are structured, visualized, and communicated
• Develop and refine strategic communications for diverse audiences (e.g., executive stakeholders, large practitioner groups)
• Promote a high level of stakeholder satisfaction by meeting deadlines, managing expectations, and communicating risks and issues effectively
• Craft compelling visual narratives that translate strategic priorities into stories that resonate with executive leaders and broad audiences
• Create and maintain a library of complex and customized templates (e.g., graphics, PowerPoint slides)
Qualifications required
• Design or visual communications professional with 10+ years of relevant experience in a corporate, professional services, or technology environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel — including custom layouts, executive presentation design, charting, data visualization, and slide master management
• Demonstrated experience producing materials for executive or C-suite audiences, with a portfolio of high-quality, executive-ready deliverables
• Proven success applying visual design principles — layout, hierarchy, color theory, typography, and information architecture — to complex business content
• Demonstrated ability to support strategic communications for diverse audiences — from executive stakeholders to broader practitioner groups — adapting tone, format, and visual complexity to suit the channel and audience level
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize and deliver across multiple projects under overnight turnaround commitments
• Strong executive presence and comfort interpreting ambiguous briefs, with the ability to produce high-quality outputs with minimal rework
• Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through; consistently delivers polished work that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback during daily syncs with US-based colleagues
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional, and virtual team environment; experience in large complex multinational organizations a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 collaboration tools including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and co-authoring workflows
• Demonstrated experience using graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) to create polished graphics, infographics, icons, and executive-ready visual assets
• Experience in consulting and/or technology industry strongly preferred
• Graduate or post-graduate degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Business, or a related field
