Analyst, Standardized Strategic Support Services
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 1 to 3 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and an eye for detail to join the New Ventures, Technology and Innovation, and Strategy (NVTI & Strategy) team in India. This role provides an opportunity to work on US firm/business strategy, innovation strategy, competitive intelligence, and technology strategy projects.
Work you’ll do
You’ll act as a team player, with a primary focus on research and analysis to facilitate business decision-making. You would conduct market research and competitive analyses on relevant Deloitte businesses. In this role, you would also develop analyses of competitors' developments, market dynamics, key technologies, and trends that impact demand for professional services and, in turn, Deloitte's businesses. The professional will work with colleagues at both the India- and U.S.-based Deloitte offices.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
- Conducting in-depth research on competitors, emerging market trends/technologies, and articulating their impact on sectors, and Deloitte’s businesses
- Identifying new trends, topics, competitor/vendor announcements through relevant, credible data sources and articulating why it is important for Deloitte and its clients to take note, through proof points
- Supporting and reviewing quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market segmentation and sizing, market trend and competitive landscape analyses, business modeling, operations analysis, etc.
- Delivering relevant, accurate, comprehensive research meeting quality standards, and providing incisive summaries of research findings for Deloitte leadership and strategy team members, promptly
The Team
The NVTI & Strategy team shapes Deloitte's strategic direction by exploring the impact of the next big client markets and guiding the development and use of market-ready solutions. It provides strategic services to analyze the competitive landscape, market trends, and growth opportunities, and plays a crucial role in supporting the US firm's leadership in charting the strategic direction, considering emerging growth opportunities, competition, internal capabilities, and broader market trends.
Work Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai
Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
- MBA or master’s degree from a reputed school, and 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a research and analysis role
- Strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Excellent writing skills and ability to present complex ideas succinctly for senior executives
- Having fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent executive presence specific to interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, and a good team player
- Experience in secondary research and research databases such as Factiva, Hoovers, CapitalIQ, Gartner, will be an advantage
