Join Deloitte’s Tax and Legal Digital Asset Factory as a Software Specialist Engineer II and help build AI-powered digital solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and user experience. Work you'll do

As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the Digital Asset Factory team, you will be responsible for…

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that support Tax and Legal digital products and platforms
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Supporting application maintenance, enhancement, defect resolution, and release activities across the software development lifecycle
  • Applying artificial intelligence tools and technologies, including approved AI-powered development platforms, to improve delivery speed, accuracy, and productivity
  • Contributing to engineering standards, documentation, code quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across projects and processes

All team members are expected to proactively apply artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies in their daily work to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. This includes leveraging AI-powered solutions such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot4DevOps, and other relevant platforms to prepare and accelerate deliverables, rather than solely relying on manual creation followed by AI validation. A mindset of continuous AI adoption and innovation is essential to drive smarter workflows and faster outcomes. Additionally, team members will contribute actively to the AI enablement initiatives within the technology function, supporting the integration, optimization, and scaling of AI capabilities across projects and processes.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or platform development
  • Experience developing, testing, and deploying applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
  • Experience working with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience building or integrating application programming interfaces (APIs), services, or microservices
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, or automated testing tools
  • Experience using artificial intelligence-enabled development tools in software delivery workflows

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting technology solutions for tax, legal, or other regulated business environments
  • Experience building AI-enabled or generative AI solutions for enterprise use cases
  • Experience with DevOps tools, release management, and deployment automation
  • Experience applying secure coding practices and software governance controls
  • Experience working with global or cross-functional delivery teams
