Position Summary


Join Deloitte’s Data and Analytics team as a Software Engineer II based in Hyderabad. In this role, you will design, build, deliver, and maintain reporting solutions across BI platforms, translating functional requirements into technical specifications aligned to business needs. You will work closely across the analytics landscape to support reporting, platform enablement, and knowledge sharing.

Work you'll do

As a Software Engineer II on the Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for supporting reporting solution development and BI platform enablement.

The Data and Analytics Team advises, enables and provides support to its internal clients: the enabling areas.

The D&A team is responsible to maintain and develop our internal data & analytics landscape. The team owns several BI Platforms: Qlik Sense, Tableau and Power BI, and is responsible to enable the platforms, enable access management and data access and support a community of practice.

As BI Developer, you design, build, deliver and maintain reporting solutions. You translate functional requirements into technical specifications, and design solution in line with the business requirements.

  • You design, develop data models and deliver reporting solutions (dashboards, reports) in line with the business functional requirements. You work in close collaboration with the Solution Architect to apply D&A best practices.
  • You are in charge of testing solutions implemented, performing demo of solutions to stakeholders, following agile methodologies.
  • You are responsible to modify existing dashboards to meet new business requirements.
  • You provide subject matter expertise support on technical development to enable self-development (e.g. enable data connections to a visualisation tool).
  • You support on incidents management and on the maintenance, upgrades of applications, streams, servers & other developed products.
  • You collaborate closely with the data scientist to elaborate data models, and evaluate use of AI technologies.
  • You set up, along with the D&A team, a community of practice supporting the development of analytical capabilities and knowledge sharing between community members. This includes the management of membership and structure of the community, the organisation of knowledge sharing events and the management of knowledge articles (e.g. monthly session on tips & tricks learned by the community).

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology
  • University degree in Data and Analytics or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of experience in Consulting/Business industry with a focus in Data and Analytics
  • Experience with Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
  • Experience with Python and SQL
  • Experience with Azure DevOps

Preferred:

  • Experience with data modelling and data integration
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Fluency in English
  • French or Dutch language capability
