USI Resource Management – Assistant Manager – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

We are looking to recruit outstanding individuals to become a pivotal part of our Resource Management Team within Talent CoE in our Hyderabad office. Work you’ll do
Each member of our team is a trusted advisor ensuring that the right people are on the right jobs at the right time. Our key responsibility is to ensure the optimal resourcing solution for the client, the business and the individual in a timely and commercially sound manner, which includes managing leaves, public holidays, study leaves, and training within the Resourcing system. The Resource Management team manages the allocation of practitioners on client work, influences capability development for individuals across the business while also providing strategic recommendations and resourcing insights to the leadership team. Additionally, the team handles data management, reporting and analysis, onboarding communication, and oversees Contract Management, all while processing engagement budgets and resolving scheduling conflicts efficiently. We work in collaboration with other key partners such as Talent, Finance and Talent Acquisition.

Role requirements:
1) Resource management delivery (demand/supply/capability)
- Own day-to-day deployment operations and consultative scheduling support.
- Ensure timely completion of all scheduling requests (leave, training, schedule updates, pricing tools); monitor STAFFIT mailboxes and drive closure.
2) Reporting, insights, and business accuracy
- Produce accurate, timely leadership reporting (weekly management packs, variance, utilization, ad hoc); extract/analyze data and provide insights.
- Oversee headcount due diligence to validate profile accuracy, cost centers, and staff levels.
- Understand reporting needs and outputs for leadership.
3) Team leadership and performance management
- Lead and develop a team of 7 Resource Management professionals.
- Own performance management cadence (monthly check-ins, evaluations, timely recognition/rewards).
- Recruit, onboard, engage, coach, and motivate team members; ensure consistent quality of team deliverables.
4) Stakeholder management and governance
- Manage stakeholder relationships through weekly/bi-weekly/monthly touchpoints with clients and engagement teams.
- Track progress vs. goals and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Maintain strong working relationships with AU stakeholders and EDC counterparts.
5) Process excellence, standards, and continuous improvement
- Define, track, and drive process KPIs; reassess and reset KPIs every 6–12 months to stay aligned to strategy.
- Standardize and improve processes; document SOPs and ensure adherence.
- Define and maintain standards for outputs (reports, templates, SOPs, data files, automation elements); ensure quality control.
6) Operational rigor and tool proficiency
- Track team utilization/time allocation to support strategic and tactical planning.
- Operate with urgency under pressure; meet tight deadlines and adapt to change.
- Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with STAFFIT and related resourcing tools (e.g., DayShape).
7) Team & Communication:
- Maintain open, transparent communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Support issue resolution and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate daily team activities and ensure service levels are met.
Key Skills:
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, taking responsibility for multiple actions and activities within tight deadlines. The incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality with regard to the process. Key skills include:

Qualifications:
· Graduate with 7 to 10 years’ experience in Resource Management Operations.
Work Location and Timings: Hyderabad and 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
