At Deloitte, collaboration enables our internal services teams to provide the support and advice client-facing professionals need across the firm. As an Assistant Manager in the Hybrid Infrastructure Management Services function, you will support cloud and hybrid infrastructure operations, automation, and reliability engineering across enterprise environments. This role focuses on infrastructure provisioning, systems administration, observability, security, and continuous improvement in support of internal and external clients.
Work you'll do
As an Assistant Manager on the Hybrid Infrastructure Management Services team, you will be responsible for:
- Administer and harden Windows and Linux servers across on-premises and cloud environments, including Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Manage core infrastructure services, backup and disaster recovery processes, and monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms to support reliability and performance objectives
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Support cloud networking, identity and access management, secrets management, hybrid connectivity, and cost optimization activities across enterprise platforms
- Drive automation, incident remediation, post-incident reviews, and standardization efforts while partnering with application teams, database administrators, and platform teams to improve service reliability
The team
The Hybrid Infrastructure Management Services function is accountable for Cloud Infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, system administration, Cloud Infrastructure administration, server builds, virtualized application support, user support, application support, patching, troubleshooting, break fix, automation FCR etc. This function is responsible for working with Internal/External clients across the firm and works closely with other ITS teams.
Location: Bangalore
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
- 7-10+ years of systems administration or engineering experience across on-premises data centers and at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience delivering automation using Terraform or equivalent infrastructure as code, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python
- Experience administering Windows and Linux, Active Directory/Entra ID, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, virtual private network (VPN), storage area network/network-attached storage (SAN/NAS), and VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience building infrastructure CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and artifact/version management
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging in at least one major cloud platform, including service level indicators/service level objectives (SLIs/SLOs) and alert tuning
- Experience with least privilege access, secrets management, encryption, patching, vulnerability remediation, compliance support, and on-call rotations; ability to work on USI holidays and weekends when required
Preferred:
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
- Experience with ServiceNow or Jira automation, configuration management database (CMDB) maintenance, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) incident, problem, or change processes
- Experience with site reliability engineering (SRE) practices such as error budgets and reliability patterns
- Experience with FinOps reporting and cloud cost optimization activities
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), AWS SysOps/Architect, GCP Associate/Professional, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification
