Work you'll do

As a Project Specialist on the Project Specialist Team, you will be responsible for:

• Create program and project plans in MS Project leveraging Deloitte standards and methods.
• Deliver project management reporting and plans including scheduling, health indicators, and resource leveling in MS Project for large projects and programs.
• Create and manage project deliverables including status reports, risk metrics, project forecast analytics, and other project artifacts as needed.
• Support project team training on Deloitte methods, tools, and delivery standards, and lead internal trainings on Deloitte methods and tools.
• Contribute to practice improvement by supporting QRM activities, sharing best practices, and recommending improvements to methods and enabling tools.

The team

The Project Specialist Team is a client facing team specializing in Program and Project Management working across technology and business transformation projects. The team collaborates with other practices in the business to achieve successful set up and execution of Projects by leveraging best practices, standards, methods and tools to promote high impact value.

The leadership team is located in Toronto with team members residing across Canada serving clients across various time zones.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST or as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• 6-8 years of hands-on project management and implementation experience in waterfall or agile delivery.
• 2-3 years of delivery experience in consulting.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Advanced knowledge of program and project management, including risk management and quality management practices in waterfall and agile delivery.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and experience with agile techniques including sprint planning, product backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective.
• Experience with business transformation and technology enablement project delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or related education.

Preferred:

• Project management certification or progress toward certification, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Certified Scrum Product Manager (CSPM).
• Understanding of technology implementation issues and risk.
• Experience communicating project status to stakeholder groups.
• Experience creating and managing status reports, risk metrics, and project forecast analytics.
• Experience supporting training on project management methods, tools, and delivery standards.
• Experience working with teams across multiple time zones.
