Manager, Standardized Strategic Support Services

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong analytical capabilities, global awareness, and an interest in geopolitical and public policy developments to join Deloitte’s Global Strategy, Innovation and Public Policy (SIPP) team in India. This role offers the opportunity to analyze geopolitical trends, public policy developments, and global macroeconomic shifts, and assess their implications for Deloitte’s business, clients, and strategic priorities.

 Work you’ll do 

 As a Manager, Standardized Strategic Support Services on the Global SIPP team, you will be responsible for:

• Leading assigned geopolitical and public policy workstreams from planning through delivery, including coordination with global stakeholders

• Monitoring and analyzing emerging legislation, regulatory frameworks, government priorities, elections, trade developments, sanctions, and multilateral policy trends across major and growth markets

• Assessing potential business risks and opportunities and translating complex geopolitical and policy developments into actionable insights for senior leaders

• Developing strategic implications, policy briefs, executive-ready presentations, talking points, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making

• Supporting Deloitte’s external engagement with governments, industry associations, and international organizations, and helping inform the firm’s position on priority policy issues

• Managing multiple workstreams while mentoring team members and promoting strong collaboration across US/global and India teams

The team 

Our Global SIPP organization sits at the core of the Firm’s strategy, working closely with member firms, industries, and practicing areas to shape Deloitte’s long-term global positioning. Within SIPP, the Public Policy & Geopolitics team helps firm leadership understand how geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and public policy developments impact markets, clients, and the professional services landscape. The team translates complex global developments into strategic insights and actionable implications for leadership.

Location: Hyderabad

Work Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM 

Qualifications

Required:

Master’s degree or Master of Business Administration; preferred focus on Strategy, Economics, International Relations, Public Policy, Political Science, or related fields

• 12+ years of work experience, including 10+ years of post-Master of Business Administration experience

• Experience in public policy, geopolitics, government affairs, external engagement, consulting, corporate strategy, risk advisory, or economic research roles

• Experience leading geopolitical, public policy, external engagement, or strategy projects and coordinating with global stakeholders

• Experience monitoring and analyzing legislative, regulatory, geopolitical, trade, sanctions, election, and multilateral policy developments across markets

• Experience assessing business risks and opportunities and developing strategic recommendations for senior leadership

• Experience developing policy briefs, executive presentations, talking points, memos, and other leadership-ready materials

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including mentoring, coaching, performance management, and capability building

• Experience supporting stakeholder engagement with governments, industry associations, multilateral organizations, think tanks, or business coalitions

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

Preferred:

Experience applying public policy, geopolitical risk, scenario planning, or management frameworks to complex business issues

• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams in ambiguous and fast-moving environments

• Experience promoting knowledge sharing across global teams

• Experience building working relationships with US/global and India stakeholders

• Familiarity with secondary research tools such as Factiva, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Economist Intelligence Unit, Oxford Economics, or similar platforms

• Familiarity with AI tools and prompt engineering for research, analysis, and insight generation
