Within Global Consulting Services, The Offerings & Assets team advances the Firm's strategy by focusing on key initiatives and collaborating with other GCS pillar teams to expedite strategic projects. They streamline platform operations, create new operating models, and ensure seamless platform integration. Deloitte's asset-enabled offerings are technology-driven solutions designed to address clients' business challenges and unlock future opportunities innovatively.
Overview of the role
The professional will act as a strategic enabler and advisor to Global Consulting Services Leaders, driving executive decision making. They will enable global leaders to make strategic decisions that translate into marketplace impact and growth. The professional will help accelerate execution of our Global Consulting Services strategic agenda by delivering high impact strategic projects, simplifying and streamlining operations (reporting, PMO activities etc.), creating compelling and transparent leadership communications to solve the most complex challenges in exponentially powerful ways.
Work you'll do
The GCS Assets Portfolio Management professional will work directly with Asset Portfolio Lead and broader Asset core team to:
• Strategically manage the portfolio of technology assets to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and market demands
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and asset teams to identify emerging trends, understanding priorities, asset roadmap from development and marketing perspective, and provide guidance around the continuous evolution of the assets in the portfolio
• Engage in strategic thinking around nomination criteria creation, refinement, asset selection, end to end process, and services to provide to the asset teams that are part of the portfolio
• Conduct business reviews of GCS offering portfolios with respect to asset priorities and support Asset Business Leaders (ABLs) to align with their strategic focus areas
• Manage the asset portfolio in the Deloitte Asset Portal (DAP), ensure data hygiene and update asset information in DAP periodically in collaboration with Asset Owners
• Stay connected and closely aligned with the Global Consulting Asset Portfolio strategy, methodology, and process for greater synergy
The professional will work with the India colleagues and senior leaders across global consulting services practice. The professional will need to develop a knowledge of the firm’s Consulting Services business, strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends, and escalation of issues/variances as appropriate. They will drive the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize outcomes, demonstrate strong analytical and business writing skills, offer team guidance including project reviews, and develop impactful narratives with recommendations based on research and analysis. The team’s projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility aligned to the global firm and Consulting Services leadership’s strategic priorities. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.
Key responsibilities
• Oversee the Global Consulting Services Asset Portfolio Management program, maintaining the most current view of assets across the global network in collaboration with the Global Offering Portfolio Leaders and the Global Offering Portfolio Asset Business Leaders
• Develop overall understanding and analyze application areas of all the assets in the Asset portfolio and recommend changes and insights around the continuous evolution of the assets in the portfolio
• Engage in strategic thinking around nomination criteria creation, refinement, asset selection, end to end process, and services to provide to the asset teams that are part of the portfolio
• Advising on asset rationalization and prioritization based on:
? Strategic fit
? Sales and pipeline insights
? Asset adoption and cross-border sales insights
? Assets that can potentially be included in the portfolio based on their global use case and market potential
• Monitor performance metrics and growth of the assets in the portfolio using sales and pipeline data, certification status, etc.
Requisite core skills
• Strong core consulting skills – project management, senior stakeholder engagement, verbal and written communication, managing multiple priorities given aggressive timelines, influence outcomes, follow up effectively
• Proactive, self-motivated, ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage multiple projects
• Comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment; flexibility to manage projects across time zones, accustomed to working in teams (incl. virtual teams) and adapt certain approaches to different cultures and working styles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teaming skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence superiors and peers in a large and complex global organization
• Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
• Self-motivated, innovative, and strong team player
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including building a network within the team and with primary stakeholders
• Highly developed personal and professional ethics are expected
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
• Education: Master’s Degree, MBA is preferred
• Work experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in Project Management, or a related field
• Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms
• Location: Hyderabad
• Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (expected to be flexible with different time zones)
• Hybrid working: The individual is expected to come to the base location office at least 2 days a week as per the hybrid plan
