Within the Global Consulting Services, the Delivery pillar supports and works with Deloitte Firms to standardize delivery capabilities across their offerings to provide a consistent experience and higher quality to our clients and proactively manage the increasing complexity and lower the risk in our business. The team drives standardization during scoping, estimation, and delivery. The Ascend team is part of Delivery pillar and works jointly with the US Ascend Program team. The team’s key goal is bringing together the best of our firm’s delivery assets and capabilities to our global network through an integrated delivery platform, thus helping our consulting practices achieve consistently high-quality delivery performance.

Overview of the role

The Technology Project Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the technical platform manager during the planning and execution of product delivery and deployment of Ascend Integrated Gateway, Suites, and associated assets. With a mandate to accelerate globalization of the platform, the platform team needs to fill a lead/senior staff role to be part of the global platform technology team and work with program stakeholders on program delivery. The role will require active engagement with cross-functional teams, MF stakeholders, and execute within the SAFe framework during the SDLC.

Key responsibilities

Core Role

• Lead and coordinate specific milestone tasks with cross-functional project workstreams such as code scans, 3rd party penetration testing, business continuity and disaster recovery testing, performance testing, and other technical compliance readiness activities

• Support the development of processes and controls to ensure system operations and reliability

• Support the SDLC execution

• Manage to plan and prepare leadership reports on progress

• Facilitate and participate in meetings, identify and raise issues and ensure steps are taken to remediate

• Integrate with the Global Ascend technology team and support technology lead in developing a comprehensive technology release plan

• Lead production support activities and work with other workstreams on remediation during system failures

• Supports O&M (minor) releases independently to ensure timely response to end user needs

• Engage with global teams and stakeholders across US, EMEA, and APAC time zones

• Collaborate with Enablement Leads, Program PMO, and GCS teams to gather updates, align on priorities, and ensure seamless execution of initiatives

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates, insights, and recommendations

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and discussions to ensure alignment and resolve any operational roadblocks

Requisite core skills

• Experience in technology delivery, reliability engineering, DevOps, and deployment across the lifecycle environments

• Experience in technical project management of enterprise scale cloud implementations

• Experience with SAFe methodology, Agile framework from planning to delivery, certification is a plus

• Understands and experienced emerging technology concepts such as Azure CoPilot, LLMs/SLMs to work with technical teams on planning activities

• Experience in engaging with technology counterparts to proactively identify and address technical issues, participate in discussions with technology vendors, cloud service provides as issues are escalated and work towards resolution

• Understanding and prior experience leading technical projects with cloud services and data tools

• Understanding of advanced DevOps tools - CI/CD pipeline orchestration, AI/ML OPs, GitHub is a strong plus

• Prior technical project/product management or business analysis is a plus

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives

• Strong core consulting skills – i.e. research, financial analysis, business writing, including logical data structuring and proficiency in storyboarding techniques to derive meaningful insights

Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing

We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.

• Degree in computer science, engineering or STEM

• Strong track record in leading business analysis, technology product management, or software engineering workstreams on software development projects

• Work experience: 6+ years of relevant experience

• Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru

• Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones

• Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)

• Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
