Specialist Assistant Manager, Pursuit Strategy (GTM)

Work you'll do
The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, content management, and execution excellence. They will collaborate closely with leadership, engagement teams, pursuit managers, industry leaders, and cross-functional business teams to design and execute integrated GTM initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is passionate about building differentiated market strategies and sales enablement assets that drive growth.
The role requires close collaboration with engagement teams to tailor and customize GTM assets for specific client pursuits, ensuring messaging is relevant, differentiated, and aligned to client priorities. The individual will also conduct ongoing market and competitive research to identify emerging developments, industry trends, regulatory updates, and evolving client needs that should be reflected in GTM materials and sales narratives.
This position combines strategic GTM thinking with hands-on content development and asset refinement capabilities, supporting both proactive market initiatives and responsive pursuit needs across the business.
Strategic GTM Support
- Partner with engagement and pursuit teams to tailor go-to-market assets for priority opportunities, especially during pre-RFP stage.
- Support Assurance offerings by developing scalable GTM frameworks, messaging, and client-facing materials.
- Translate market insights and emerging trends into actionable messaging, recommendations, and sales materials.
- Embed market intelligence into pursuits, campaigns, and offering narratives in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop standardized sales enablement assets that support consistent, high-impact client conversations.
Content Management & Asset Development
- Own and maintain a centralized library of GTM assets, including placemats, pitch decks, capability overviews, and pursuit collateral.
- Continuously refine and enhance GTM materials to ensure they are current, market-relevant, and aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with leadership, pursuit teams, designers, and subject matter specialists to produce high-quality, client-ready deliverables.
- Ensure brand, messaging, and visual consistency across all GTM and pursuit materials.
- Tailor content and messaging to specific clients, industries, and pursuit opportunities.
- Improve the usability, organization, and scalability of GTM assets across teams and markets.
- Build adaptable messaging frameworks that can be reused across multiple pursuits and service offerings.

Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in business management (MBA, PGDBM), preferably in Marketing.
- Relevant experience of working in secondary Research, content management, and developing client-facing marketing collaterals.
- 6- 9 years of experience
- Exposure to secondary research databases such as Factiva, OneSource, Hoovers, Thomson, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, etc.
- Ability to assimilate research findings and industry trends to showcase logical thought flow and storyboarding skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite—PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of business development practices in a professional services firm.
- Understanding of company structure and preferably knowledge of the audit and assurance practice.
- Excellent communication skills that include reading comprehension and the ability to articulate messages in written and spoken form.
- Ability to see the big picture and quickly adapt to changing business priorities in a matrixed organization.
- Willingness and ability to take initiative, prioritize projects, solve problems, and work under tight deadlines.
