Specialist Manager, Go-To-Market


We are seeking a Specialist Manager to work closely with U.S.-based Strategic Marketers—including portfolio marketing leaders, national marketing leaders, and Business Chief Marketing Officers (BCMOs)—to manage strategic marketing initiatives and service offering activations. This role defines campaign goals, guides execution across channels, and fosters collaboration across teams. Managers are responsible for performance reporting, annual planning, and operational standardization. They also coach team members and ensure marketing efforts align with business priorities and a client-first mindset.

 

Work you’ll do

 

As a Specialist Manager, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and portfolio marketers to drive annual marketing planning, competitive analysis, and strategic alignment. You will collaborate with Client Account Teams, Research & Insights, and Market Intelligence to inform portfolio-level initiatives, integrate insights into campaign planning, and standardize operations for efficiency and impact.

In execution, you will help manage the planning and delivery of integrated campaigns across channels such as thought leadership, events, podcasts, and digital platforms. You will define campaign goals, oversee content development, ensure brand consistency, and guide demand generation strategies. Leveraging marketing platforms and tools, you will optimize execution, automate reporting, and mentor team members through feedback, performance management, and career development.

To measure impact, you will prepare and present performance reports to leadership, establish benchmarks and reporting cadences, and provide strategic recommendations. You will also direct media strategy for PR campaigns, analyze coverage and sentiment, and recommend improvements to enhance visibility and engagement.

Required skills and competencies

Marketing strategy & planning

·       Strategic planning & integrated campaigns — Help provide long-term marketing strategies, connecting campaigns to lead generation and retention, and aligning initiatives with business objectives.

·       Content & brand strategy — Help shaping content vision, managing streams for brand integrity, and defining brand strategy for consistent communications and reputation management.

Project and stakeholder management

  • Financial & project management — Overseeing strategic marketing projects, standardizing operations, and managing large-scale budgets aligned with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder engagement & collaboration — Help develop engagement strategies and manage senior leader relationships to support organizational priorities.
  • Problem solving & continuous improvement — Addressing complex challenges, managing crises, and driving process improvements.

Team leadership

  • Leadership & team development — Setting leadership tone, coaching team members, and supporting career growth.
  • Quality & standards management — Assist in establishing review processes and maintaining quality standards across deliverables.

Data analytics and storytelling:

  • Technology and data analytics — Aligning technology investments with business goals, optimizing data platforms, and helping in managing adoption of analytical tools for campaign insights.

Experience Required in Integrated Marketing Leadership & Channel Optimization Including:

Digital strategy and media performance

  • Experience managing SEO/SEM implementation and working with web and content teams to optimize search visibility.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns, coordinating with media teams, and optimizing performance based on analytics.
  • Experience leading web development projects and UX/UI enhancements to improve digital experience and accessibility.

Content, brand, and experiential marketing

  • Experience managing content calendars and production workflows, maintaining brand voice and quality standards across channels.
  • Experience leading digital marketing activations such as video, podcast, webcasts, or webinars, including managing schedules, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Experience planning and coordinating social media campaigns, including posting schedules and engagement strategies.
  • Experience planning and executing events, managing logistics, budgets, and stakeholder communications.

Demand generation and growth marketing

  • Experience in executing nurture campaigns, monitoring funnel metrics, and collaborating with sales teams to improve lead conversion.
  • Proven ability to lead account-based and opportunity-based marketing campaigns, coordinate with sales, and track performance outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in managing email marketing calendars, workflows, and segmentation strategies to determine campaign effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to qualify leads, track engagement, and support audience segmentation for demand generation efforts.

Public relations and corporate communications

  • Experienced in driving PR campaigns and managing media relationships to ensure consistent messaging and coverage.

Qualifications

  • 10–13 years of relevant experience in B2B / Professional Services marketing, with a strong understanding of integrated marketing and communication strategies, with demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members and manage performance.

Work Environment and Shift Timings

Deloitte offers a hybrid working environment designed to support flexibility and business requirements. The following schedule applies to this role:

  • In the office: Tuesday and Wednesday are designated work-from-office days.
  • 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. It's a business expectation that you will be available until 11.00pm
