The work you’ll do

Key responsibilities and requirements

  • Draft and edit a range of internal communications—emails, newsletters, presentations, leadership messages, capability decks, impact reports, guidebooks, and intranet/social media content.
  • Partner with business comms leads, designers, and stakeholders to deliver content and messaging plans that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Handle multiple communication requests, track deliverables, and support the end-to-end production pipeline.
  • Ensure all materials are accurate, error-free, consistent with style and brand guidelines, and meet tight timelines.
  • Assist in collecting, reporting, and analyzing communication metrics to continuously improve efforts.
  • Foster effective collaboration across USI and global teams to unify campaigns, share insights, and elevate business goals.

The team

USI Communications is a team of professionals who specialize in Internal Communications, Public Relations, and Communication Technology. This role is aligned with the Business Communications team, which sits within USI Communications and is connected to various businesses at Deloitte USI. The team reinforces the culture and brand of Deloitte internally and monitors our external reputation – intervening where necessary. They also play the role of a strategic and trusted business advisor for leaders, ensuring that professionals are equipped with the right information in a timely manner to excel at work and enjoy well-being. Other priorities include creating an open and transparent environment for leadership communications, leveraging internal channels creatively, effectively disseminating information, and measuring the impact of communications.

Required qualifications

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in corporate communications/content writing, preferably in a large/global organization.
  • Graduate/post-graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Strong command of English, adept at storytelling, and skilled in writing, editing, and proofreading for multiple online channels.
  • Excellent project, time, and stakeholder management abilities—able to juggle multiple priorities with speed and quality.
  • Digital mindset and familiarity with internal social platforms (e.g., intranet, Teams, Viva Engage) and publishing tools; Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
  • Interpersonal strength—confident collaborating with teams and leaders at all levels with empathy, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Familiarity with style guides (Chicago Manual of Style/AP) is a plus; experience reporting analytics or managing internal sites/social networks is valued.


This role will be based out of Hyderabad.

Work timings: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (IST)
