The Deputy Manager will help plan, execute, and continuously improve technology learning programs by combining program operations discipline with analytics-driven insights. Working within a blended US/USI team and reporting to the Thread Leader or Manager, you will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, ensure high-quality deliverables, and elevate learner experience through data, feedback loops, and iterative design.
Work you'll do
As a Specialist Deputy Manager, Talent Development on the Technology Learning and Development team, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating end-to-end learning programs, including intake, planning, timelines, delivery readiness, communications, and post-program follow-through
- Monitoring learner engagement and program outcomes, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements across curriculum, content, facilitation, and participant experience
- Analyzing program data, synthesizing feedback, and developing insights and recommendations to address stakeholder needs and improve program effectiveness
- Creating, reviewing, and maintaining program artifacts, reports, status updates, learner communications, and post-program documentation for accuracy and consistency
- Partnering with business stakeholders, talent stakeholders, subject matter experts, and peers to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and support delivery across teams and geographies
- Coaching junior team members through feedback, delegation, and day-to-day support while contributing to a collaborative team environment
The team
The Technology Learning and Development team supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning experiences that help Deloitte technologists build capability and performance. The team works across stakeholders, geographies, and learning operations to deliver scalable programs, improve learner experience, and use data and feedback to guide decisions and enhancements.
Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
Shift Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of professional experience in learning and development, program management, training operations, or a similar function
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs or projects, including timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and dependencies
- Experience analyzing program data and using findings to support recommendations, decisions, or process improvements
- Experience creating written communications, reports, presentations, and program documentation for stakeholder audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data aggregation, analysis, and visual presentation of results
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word for presentations, communications, and documentation
Preferred:
- Experience working in a learning and development organization supporting technology learning programs
- Experience in instructional design for technology learning
- Experience in end-to-end training process management, learning strategy, and learning program design
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, or financial activities for training programs
- Experience working with cross-border stakeholders in information technology organizations
- Experience in consulting or professional services
