Specialist Assistant Manager, Learning Facilitation and Coaching
Craft learning experiences that build critical testing capabilities across Deloitte Technology Academy. This role supports technical upskilling through faculty-led delivery, curriculum support, and hands-on instruction across manual and automation testing topics. The position is well suited for an experienced trainer who can translate testing concepts into practical, business-relevant learning for adult learners.
Work you'll do
As a Specialist Assistant Manager, Learning Facilitation and Coaching on the Deloitte Technology Academy team, you will be responsible for:
- Facilitate technical training sessions on manual and automation testing topics, including software testing basics, Selenium, API testing, cloud testing, database testing, and testing automation tools.
- Deliver hands-on instruction, demos, and end-to-end implementation scenarios for adult learners across testing-related technologies and frameworks.
- Support the design, curation, and continuous improvement of curriculum, learning content, and training materials for testing programs.
- Incorporate practical examples from live project environments to help learners apply concepts in business and delivery contexts.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams and stakeholders to align training delivery with skill development needs across the academy.
The team
The Deloitte Technology Academy (DTA) will be a leading-edge, branded educational institute that develops new age digital skills, offering a comprehensive cross-business curriculum, blend of solutions, dedicated faculty, and strategic partnerships that differentiate Deloitte as the premier organization for technology skills development. When operating at full scale, we expect DTA to train tens of thousands of learners annually in critical technology skills including AI, Cloud, Cyber, custom development, and package technologies.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 5-7 years of corporate training experience in manual and automation testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience delivering technical training on software testing, test automation, Selenium, API testing, and database testing
- Experience designing or updating technical curriculum, learning content, or assessments for adult learners
- Experience using test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium WebDriver, SoapUI, Postman, and test management platforms
- Experience with database testing using DDL, DCL, DQL, DML, and TCL commands
- Experience delivering demos, implementation scenarios, and project-based examples in a training environment
Preferred:
- ISTQB certification
- Facilitation or trainer certification
- Experience designing automation frameworks or automation testing strategies
- Experience delivering training on Python or PySpark-based testing automation, cloud testing, big data testing, or MDM testing
- Experience working with Agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, ALM, or Rally
- Experience partnering with stakeholders to design learning solutions and measure learning outcomes
