Work you'll do

As a Specialist Assistant Manager, Learning Facilitation and Coaching on the Deloitte Technology Academy team, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering technical training on Java full stack development, including front-end technologies, back-end frameworks, microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Designing curriculum, instructional materials, assessments, presentations, and hands-on labs aligned to technical capability-building goals
  • Facilitating virtual and in-person learning sessions and supporting participants through programming, testing, and application development exercises
  • Measuring learner progress through assignments, assessments, feedback loops, and training effectiveness mechanisms
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and the Academy to improve training content, learning methods, and program outcomes
  • Building capability in emerging technologies, including GenAI-enabled tools such as GitHub Copilot, and traveling as needed to deliver in-person training

The team

Deloitte Technology Academy supports workforce capability-building through structured technical learning, instructor-led programs, and targeted upskilling initiatives. The team works with business and technology stakeholders to build scalable learning experiences aligned to enterprise priorities, emerging technologies, and evolving skill needs. This role contributes to the development of future-ready talent across Java full stack, cloud, and adjacent technology domains.

Location: Bangalore

Shift Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience delivering corporate technical training in Java full stack technologies
  • Experience managing end-to-end training delivery, including design, planning, facilitation, execution, and learner support
  • Experience with Java, Servlets, JavaServer Pages (JSP), Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Java Persistence API (JPA), RESTful APIs, JSON Web Token (JWT), and microservices architecture
  • Experience with Angular, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, relational databases, NoSQL databases, Git, Maven, Gradle, JUnit, and Mockito
  • Experience designing and delivering hands-on labs, technical assessments, and workshop content for full stack or cloud technologies
  • Ability to travel 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for application deployment, management, or cloud-based training enablement
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ
  • Experience with Sonar, FindBugs, log4j, or Simple Logging Facade for Java (SLF4J)
  • Experience delivering training on front-end, cloud, or cross-skilling programs across multiple technology areas
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or other GenAI-enabled developer tools in engineering or training environments
  • Industry certifications in Java, cloud, or full stack technologies
