The Automation CoE is a team within Information Technology Services servicing both internal and external facing business units for Deloitte Member Firm.
Work you'll do
As a part this team, you will:
- Contribute as an Analyst-level Developer in the ITS Automation Team, supporting the delivery of automation/RPA solutions to improve Deloitte Member Firm business processes.
- Assist in the solution development lifecycle including build, unit testing, defect fixing, release support, and deployment coordination.
- Work with the Automation Portfolio Manager, Business Champions, and team members to support the design and delivery of proofs of concept (POCs), chatbots, and console applications.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities including test preparation, defect tracking, retesting, and go-live readiness support.
- Gather, document, and clarify business and technical requirements with guidance from senior team members.
- Help identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate them appropriately to support timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to support team delivery goals.
- Collaborate with SMEs, developers, QA teams, and vendors to support project execution and issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test cases, and knowledge artifacts.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and updates clearly within the team and to relevant stakeholders.
Contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
The team
ITS COE Automation supports Deloitte Member Firm business units by delivering automation solutions that improve process efficiency, quality, and scalability. The team works across automation, RPA, chatbot, and application delivery initiatives, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to support solution design, build, testing, and deployment. Team members collaborate in an Agile environment with developers, QA teams, SMEs, and vendors to support business-focused technology delivery.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 06.30 AM to 03.30 PM
Qualifications
Required:
Core technical requirements (must-have)
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience with C# / .NET Framework
- Basic to working experience in building or maintaining applications using ASP.NET and SQL Server
- Good understanding of SQL concepts, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and queries
- Familiarity with web services/APIs such as REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML
- Basic understanding of .NET Core Web APIs, including development or consumption
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) fundamentals
- Exposure to building interfaces or integrating with third-party systems
- Willingness to learn automation, chatbot, and low-code/no-code technologies
Desirable technical skills (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to chatbot development or implementation
- Exposure to RPA tools and cloud-based PaaS services
- Exposure to Power Apps / Power Automate / Power Platform
- Understanding of data mapping, transformation, and business rules
- Internship, academic, or project experience in automation or application development
Delivery & analysis
- Ability to understand business requirements and support system or process improvements
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and test-related artifacts with guidance
- Exposure to Agile delivery; knowledge of Waterfall is a plus
