Position Summary

This role is for a Software Specialist Engineer II with expert-level knowledge in designing and developing modern web applications using technologies such as C#.net, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, HTML5, CSS, React JS, AngularJS, jQuery, and Azure.

Work you'll do

As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the Enterprise Communications and Collaboration team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing enterprise web applications and complex features using C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core/.NET 8, Web APIs, and Azure.
  • Building and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams customizations, Office 365 application customizations, SharePoint Framework solutions, and Microsoft Graph API integrations.
  • Developing responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and React, with AngularJS used where applicable.
  • Writing unit tests, supporting test-driven development practices, and creating complex Microsoft SQL Server queries and stored procedures to support application functionality and reporting needs.
  • Collaborating with infrastructure and cross-functional teams to support web applications, services, and databases, while mentoring team members and working across global time zones.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using .NET and SQL
  • 7+ years of experience in analysis, design, and development of enterprise web applications using C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core and/or .NET 8, and RESTful web API services
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework, Microsoft Teams customizations, Office 365 application customizations, and Microsoft Graph APIs
  • Experience developing responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and React
  • Experience writing unit tests and working with Microsoft SQL Server queries and stored procedures
  • Experience using Git and Visual Studio 2019 or later

Preferred:

  • Experience with AngularJS
  • Experience with Azure development and deployment automation
  • Experience with web page performance optimization
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Platform tools, including Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Understanding of governance policies and security configurations in Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft or Azure-related certifications
