Senior Analyst-Financial Services Industry - Global Strategic Insights Center

As a Senior Analyst within the Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) for the Financial Services Industry (FSI), you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality research, analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making across banking, insurance, investment management, and related sectors. You will collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and client teams to identify emerging trends, assess market opportunities, and inform go-to-market strategies. This position is ideal for professionals with experience and passion for financial services, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business intelligence.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant, Standardized Strategic Support Services on the Global Strategic Insights Center team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research on financial services segments, including banking, capital markets, insurance, real estate, and asset and wealth management
  • Delivering projects from initiation through completion while meeting timelines and quality expectations
  • Analyzing regulatory developments, market shifts, and technology trends, including digital banking, blockchain, and payments innovation
  • Preparing industry reports, account research, thought leadership, and presentations with a clear point of view
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Leading assigned workstreams and guiding junior team members to support accuracy and quality standards

The team

Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) provides secondary research and analysis services to global Deloitte Member Firms supporting pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills, and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports, delivering significant value to customers across Deloitte’s global network. Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurgaon

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • MBA or master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of work experience, including 4+ years in financial services research or a similar role
  • Experience conducting research and analysis across financial services sectors, including banking, capital markets, insurance, real estate, and asset and wealth management
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, and strategic insights for business stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using research tools such as S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or Refinitiv
  • Experience analyzing market trends, regulatory developments, and technology topics within financial services

Preferred:

  • Experience working directly with senior leadership or in a client-service environment
  • Experience creating data visualizations and presenting analysis in graphical and tabular formats
  • Experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence tools
  • Exposure to prompt engineering
