Senior Analyst-Economics Insights - Global Strategic Insights Center

Work you'll do

As a Consultant, Standardized Strategic Support Services on the Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) team, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop economic insights, models, and macroeconomic outlook reports for Deloitte senior leadership to support business development, client engagement, practice development, and eminence priorities
  • Conduct analysis across strategic, macroeconomic, and public policy topics to identify patterns, implications, and actionable insights
  • Translate economic theory into business context through economic impact assessments, regulatory analysis, and policy analysis
  • Present clear, concise recommendations and insights for senior stakeholders, with a focus on business implications and decision support
  • Execute projects independently and in teams, manage timelines and quality, and provide review support and guidance to junior team members

Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) provides research and program management solutions to global Deloitte Member Firms in support of pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills, and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports delivering significant value to their customers across Deloitte’s global network. Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurgaon

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, or Developmental Studies
  • 4-6 years of experience in macroeconomic research and development of economic outlook reports for executive-level audiences
  • Experience in economic modeling, forecasting, and time series analysis
  • Experience conducting economic impact assessments, regulatory analysis, or public policy analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience using data analysis tools or languages such as R, SPSS, or Python with large data sets

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting interdisciplinary economic impact studies related to climate change, social issues, or technology disruptions
  • Experience creating executive-ready visualizations and structured presentations
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Experience using generative artificial intelligence tools; exposure to prompt engineering
