This role is to perform operational and administrative management of the Azure Virtual Desktop environment known as Cloud VDI.
The role requires advanced skills in Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop Services, knowledge of Microsoft Compute- Win11 Virtual Machines, Azure Entra ID, and basic understanding of Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
Advantageous to have basic knowledge of Conditional Access, Windows device management via Intune, Prompt Engineering, M365, app and patch management via SCCM.
The role requires an individual that is familiar with administrative type work, especially resolving incidents and handling customer requests using ServiceNow, and understands the need for solid process and adherence to such.
Work you'll do
As an Associate Services Specialist I, IT Services on the Global Architecture – End User Technology team, you will be responsible for:
- Manage incidents and service requests related to Azure Virtual Desktop using enterprise IT service management tools, including ServiceNow
- Troubleshoot day-to-day technical and operational issues in the Cloud VDI environment and support root cause analysis activities
- Follow established operational procedures, change control requirements, and documentation standards for service delivery and compliance
- Partner with internal teams to address operational gaps, compliance requirements, and cross-team dependencies
- Contribute to automation, reporting, and the maintenance of operational, process, and architectural documentation
The team
The Global Architecture – End User Technology team supports technologies that enable secure, reliable end-user computing services across the organization. This team helps manage and improve virtual desktop capabilities, operational processes, and service delivery practices that support business users and enterprise technology standards. The role works closely with adjacent technology and operations teams to maintain service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree, college diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
- Up to 3 years of experience in IT operations, end-user technology support, or virtual desktop administration
- Experience handling incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or another enterprise IT service management platform
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop Services, Azure Entra ID, and Windows 11 virtual machines
- Experience using PowerShell or Azure DevOps for administrative or operational support activities
Preferred:
- Experience with Conditional Access
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows device management
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration or support
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) for application or patch management
- Experience supporting process documentation, operational documentation, or architectural documentation
- Experience with prompt engineering
