We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Developer with strong experience across ITSM processes development and ITOM capabilities, particularly CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. The role involves developing, administering, and continuously improving the ServiceNow platform in an enterprise environment, with a focus on service quality, automation, and data integrity.
The ideal candidate will work closely with operations, infrastructure, and application teams to enhance platform adoption, optimize processes, and ensure ServiceNow effectively supports business and IT operations.
Work you'll do
As a Specialist, Engineering Maintenance Solutions on the Engineering Maintenance Solutions team, you will be responsible for:
- Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across Information Technology Service Management modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Administer and optimize Configuration Management Database, Discovery, and Service Mapping capabilities, including MID Servers, discovery schedules, credentials, patterns, and mapping quality.
- Design and support platform functionality using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Record Producers, Flow Designer, Workflow, and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, scripting, integration, Discovery, and Service Mapping issues, while supporting upgrades, cloning, update set management, and production deployments.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, automate repetitive activities, strengthen self-service adoption, and create reports, dashboards, documentation, and support materials for stakeholders and end users.

Qualifications
Required:
- Less than 5 years of experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration
- Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management solutions
- Experience with Configuration Management Database, Discovery, and Service Mapping in ServiceNow
- Experience with client-side and server-side scripting using JavaScript and Glide API
- Experience with Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Workflow, Transform Maps, and Table APIs
- Experience designing or supporting integrations using REST APIs and SOAP APIs
- Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, update sets, authentication methods, and Agile delivery environments
Preferred:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification
- Experience with Identification and Reconciliation rules and multi-source data integration into Configuration Management Database
- Experience supporting Service Mapping for on-premises and cloud services
- Experience creating ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and operational metrics
- Experience developing technical documentation, procedures, and support guidelines
