Position Summary

At Deloitte, we are seeking a Software Engineer II to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of SharePoint and .NET-based applications. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of scalable technical solutions that support business needs across the organization. The ideal candidate brings experience across Microsoft technologies, strong development fundamentals, and the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Work you'll do

As a Software Engineer II on the team, you will be responsible for…

  • Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and deploying SharePoint and .NET-based applications and enhancements.
  • Building and maintaining SPFx solutions using React JS and TypeScript to support business and platform requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and delivering solutions in collaboration with engineers, technical leads, and delivery managers.
  • Supporting application performance improvements through code refactoring, tuning, and process enhancements.
  • Maintaining technical documentation, test scenarios, test data, and source control artifacts to support quality delivery and ongoing platform support.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint On-Premises or SharePoint Online and .NET development
  • 3+ years of experience building SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions using React JS and TypeScript
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), application programming interfaces (APIs), C#, ASP.NET, jQuery, RESTful services, and SQL
  • Experience with Azure Functions, App Service, Azure Storage Table, Virtual Network (VNet), Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as MSTest or NUnit
  • Experience debugging and deploying solutions in Azure using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Certified Software Developer (MCSD) or Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD)
  • Experience working in an agile methodology
  • Experience with Azure or another cloud-based platform
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), software as a service (SaaS), business intelligence, information management, knowledge management, integrations, or portals
