Position Summary

SDET Specialist II

SDET Specialist II professionals support quality engineering efforts by designing and executing test automation solutions that improve software reliability and release confidence. This role works closely with engineering and product teams to validate application functionality, identify defects, and strengthen delivery quality across the software development lifecycle.

Work you'll do

As an SDET Specialist II on the Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and regression testing
  • Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end tests across multiple releases
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution with development and product teams
  • Support continuous integration and deployment by integrating automated tests into build pipelines
  • Analyze test results, validate fixes, and provide quality metrics to support release decisions

The team

The Quality Engineering team helps deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing technology solutions through test strategy, automation, and continuous quality practices. The team works closely with engineering, product, and delivery stakeholders to improve release confidence and reduce production risk.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
  • 3+ years of experience developing automated test scripts using Java, Python, or a comparable programming language
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
  • Experience with test management, defect tracking, and continuous integration tools
  • Experience using SQL for data validation and test support

Preferred:

  • Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks for enterprise applications
  • Experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or comparable automation tools
  • Experience testing applications in cloud environments
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery models
