Lead Architect
Join Deloitte to help clients design, modernize, and scale cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). As an Architect, you will lead cloud strategy, solution design, migration planning, and modernization efforts for enterprise platforms and applications. This role combines hands-on architecture, technical leadership, and delivery support to help build secure, scalable, and cost-conscious cloud solutions aligned to business goals.
Work you'll do
As an Architect on the cloud architecture team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the design and implementation of Azure and AWS cloud architectures, including landing zones, reference architectures, and standards that drive consistency across solutions.
- Assess applications and infrastructure environments and define migration and modernization strategies, including planning, readiness assessments, and business case inputs.
- Design cloud-native and cloud-agnostic solutions for new and existing applications, with a focus on availability, scalability, security, and operational resilience.
- Guide cross-functional teams through application development, integration, automation, and deployment activities across .NET and cloud-based delivery environments.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, security, compliance, monitoring, and cost efficiency.
The team
You will work with Deloitte professionals who help organizations modernize enterprise technology environments and accelerate cloud adoption at scale. The team supports architecture, migration, engineering, and transformation initiatives across Azure and AWS to deliver secure, scalable, and business-aligned solutions. This role works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to help clients solve complex technology challenges through cloud modernization.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 13-16 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or cloud transformation delivery.
- 4-5 years of experience architecting solutions for Microsoft Azure.
- Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions across compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and infrastructure automation services.
- Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, Structured Query Language (SQL), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), and web application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), automation scripting, and container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred:
- Experience conducting Azure or AWS readiness assessments and producing architecture, design, deployment, and presentation materials.
- Experience with Azure serverless services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
- Experience with Azure data services, including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake.
- Experience with AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Lambda, Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS CloudFormation, and Amazon CloudWatch.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using ARM templates and PowerShell.
- Azure or AWS cloud certifications.
