Position Summary

Software Engineer II

Lead the Analysis, plan, design, development, and implementation of SAP ABAP and S/4 ABAP solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements to enable Finance business processes. Requires high level of skills in supporting Finance applications. Must be innovative.

Work you'll do

As a Software Engineer II on the SAP Finance team, you will be responsible for delivering SAP ABAP Finance solutions that support Deloitte Member Firms and Finance business processes.

  • Develop, enhance, and implement SAP ABAP and S/4HANA ABAP solutions for Finance applications.
  • Design and deploy custom products, interfaces, workflows, and technical components to support business requirements.
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to support project planning, execution, status reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Apply enterprise standards for delivery methodology, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Support daily SAP Finance operations and provide third-level production support for complex technical issues.

The team

The SAP Finance team supports Deloitte Member Firms by delivering SAP ABAP and S/4HANA solutions that improve consistency, quality, and efficiency across Finance processes. The team works across technical development, enhancement delivery, workflow enablement, and ongoing application support to help meet evolving business needs.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP technical development
  • Experience supporting SAP MM and SAP FI modules
  • Experience developing ABAP solutions across RICEFW objects and object-oriented ABAP
  • Experience developing in ABAP on HANA or SAP S/4HANA ABAP
  • Experience with ALE/IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, Adobe Forms, and Data Dictionary objects
  • Experience with ATC, Code Inspector, performance tuning, enhancements, and modifications
  • Experience supporting technical design, development, and implementation for SAP Finance solutions

Preferred:

  • Experience with ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) modeling and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)
  • Experience with SAP Gateway, OData services, or enterprise services
  • Experience with SAP workflow
  • Experience with SAP Fiori or SAP UI5
  • Experience supporting purchase order workflow
  • Experience defining reusable components, frameworks, or coding standards
