Work you'll do

As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the IT Services team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting modern web-based applications in an Azure environment.

  • Design and develop single-page applications using Angular 2+ and .NET technologies, including ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, SQL, JSON, and Web API
  • Build and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available Azure solutions using platform-as-a-service and infrastructure-as-a-service services
  • Define and implement application and infrastructure migration approaches for workloads moving to Microsoft Azure
  • Develop automation to support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
  • Collaborate with product owners and architects to deliver features, resolve issues across development, test, and production environments, and strengthen monitoring, logging, and audit capabilities

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
  • 6-8 years of experience developing web applications in an enterprise environment
  • Experience designing and developing applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Angular 2+, SQL, JSON, and Web API
  • Experience designing and developing Microsoft Azure platform-as-a-service and infrastructure-as-a-service services, including Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with Azure database technologies, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake
  • Experience with software development life cycle, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Experience supporting high-availability, multi-data-center, or hybrid cloud environments, including troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers

Preferred:

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with Azure monitoring tools
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration of web services
  • Experience with Git version control systems
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, user-defined routes, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, Storage, Azure Resource Manager templates, load balancers, API Gateway, and Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with network and security technologies, including Internet Protocol Security, virtual LANs, virtual private networks, routing, firewalls, proxy services, and local area network/wide area network connectivity
