Core Procurement - Procurement Travel Manager - Hyderabad
The Specialist Manager, Procurement and Category Management will support Deloitte USI travel operations and procurement activities, with a focus on category management, supplier coordination, travel program execution, and stakeholder support. This role requires collaboration across geographies and functions to help manage travel services, monitor supplier performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support business priorities through data-driven insights. The role also involves oversight of travel tools, operational processes, and travel safety and security programs.
Work you'll do
As a Specialist Manager, Procurement and Category Management on the Travel Operations and Procurement team, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Deloitte USI travel operations and procurement activities across air, hotel, ground transportation, and other travel categories
- Coordinating implementation and administration of travel programs, online booking tools, and travel-related technologies
- Managing travel data from multiple sources to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities and provide timely reporting to leadership and stakeholders
- Monitoring supplier and Travel Management Company performance against defined metrics and supporting supplier relationship management activities
- Communicating travel program requirements, security protocols, and operational updates to stakeholders and travelers across the organization
- Managing team members and supporting cross-functional initiatives to improve process efficiency, traveler experience, and internal client satisfaction
The team
The Travel Operations and Procurement team supports Deloitte USI’s business travel program through supplier management, program operations, policy support, and process improvement. The team works closely with internal stakeholders, global travel teams, and external suppliers to help deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable travel services. This role contributes to procurement strategy, operational execution, and continuous improvement across the travel category.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM / 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in travel procurement, travel operations, category management, or supplier management
- Experience managing air, hotel, ground transportation, and travel program suppliers
- Experience working with online booking tools, travel management processes, and travel-related technologies
- Experience analyzing data and preparing reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience managing stakeholder communications across multiple business levels and geographies
- Experience managing direct reports or leading workstreams
- English written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in travel procurement within large corporate environments
- Experience supporting stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region
- Experience documenting and improving business processes
- Experience managing issue escalation and resolution
- Experience conducting market research across travel categories
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in a multi-priority environment
