Position Summary

Specialist, Contracts and Procurement Management

Seeking a high performing and motivated candidate to grow the Procurement team in India (USI Delivery Centre). This Sr Analyst role will be responsible for developing and supporting key internal stakeholders with Procurement projects in USI and global regions.

Additionally, the position requires the individual to become an active member of centralized team focused on the end-to-end contracting process supporting the procurement category management teams.

Work you'll do

As a Specialist, Contracts and Procurement Management on the CoRe Procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting contracting activities across sourcing and renewal processes while coordinating with procurement stakeholders, legal teams, and member firms.

  • Support the contract review process for the purchase of products and services by preparing required information and documentation for member firm Office of General Counsel review
  • Participate with Global or Member Firm Office of General Counsel teams in the negotiation of legal terms
  • Draft contracts, amendments, statements of work, and non-disclosure agreements to support procurement managers and legal stakeholders
  • Review business terms in agreements, including cost structures, payment terms, and maintenance and support provisions
  • Document and evaluate end-to-end contract review activities to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Confirm required approvals are completed before initiating contract execution activities

The team

Enabling Areas (EA) at the U.S. India offices are the support arm of the organization and comprises several groups including Talent, Technology, Finance, Communications, Field Operations, etc. EA gives every client service business unit access to the best and brightest resources when it comes to support services. More specifically, EA enables the business units to solely focus on satisfying clients and developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while they consolidate and standardize a diverse collection of systems, processes, and functions. The team provides a wide array of services to the U.S and India professionals, and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Qualifications

Required:

  • Any graduate, postgraduate, or paralegal equivalent
  • 4-5 years of contracts review, contract management, or contract administration experience
  • Experience in a shared services environment or professional services environment
  • Experience drafting or reviewing contracts, amendments, statements of work, or non-disclosure agreements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
  • Working knowledge of procurement contracts
  • Experience documenting or improving business processes

Preferred:

  • Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or process re-engineering in a multi-national environment
  • Experience supporting contracting activities across multiple stakeholders or geographies
  • Experience using Ariba for contract-related activities
  • Experience preparing written summaries or presentations for management audiences
